Presented by the Skagit County Master Composter/Recyclers.

When: 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Saturday, October 8.

Where: Washington State University Northwestern Research and Extension Center, 16650 Highway 536, west of Mount Vernon

What to Bring: Wear outdoor clothes and bring garden gloves, a notebook and pen or pencil—and a bottle of water or other beverage

The first hour will feature an indoor, classroom-based lecture. Then participants will head outside for hands on instruction in the Master Gardener WSU Discovery Garden.
