GM Resigns

Skagit PUD announced today that General Manager David Johnson has resigned.  Johnson had served as PUD general manager since July 2007.

The District intends to appoint an interim general manager, and will then consider both internal and external candidates to fill the GM position.

Johnson’s resignation is unrelated to the latent pipe failure that the District experienced in Avon several days ago. The leak caused escapement of approximately 1.5 million gallons of water that flooded portions of the surrounding neighborhood. Repairs will be completed this week.
