As part of Skagit PUD's public outreach and water education program, we offer the ThirstBuster: H2O to Go mobile hydration trailer for use at community events, including festivals, fairs, parades, sporting events, and other non-profit celebrations. This service is offered free of charge.

Scheduling is on a first-come, first-served basis, depending on availability. We may not be able to accommodate all requests.

In exchange for using the ThirstBuster, Skagit PUD requests recognition as an in-kind sponsor on all printed materials, websites, and social media channels used to promote the event. Skagit PUD will provide a high-resolution logo for print and online use.

The preferred ThirstBuster setup has access to a water hose bibb and a dedicated electrical service within 50 feet of the trailer. However, we can also operate as a self-contained unit.

Each day, people in the U.S. throw away more than 60 million plastic water bottles! Please encourage event participants to bring their refillable water bottles to your event.

Event Requirements

• Event must be within Skagit PUD’s service area
• Event must be open to the public — ticketed or free
• Expected attendance of at least 200 people
• Requests submitted at minimum three weeks before the event
• Level surface available with easy access for tow vehicle
• For multi-day events, fenced and secured area required for ThirstBuster to remain parked overnight
